You Must Be Born Again, john 3:7

All humanity has a need for a personal relationship with Jesus. Why? SIN. Despite our best efforts, sin has made its way into each of our lives. Romans 3:23 reads, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." So, we’re sinful, but God is not.

God is holy; He is set apart. Habakkuk explains it, "Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; You cannot tolerate wrongdoing (sin).” Here is the conundrum: God is holy and we’re not; and it is our sinfulness that separates us from God. We’re "undone," as Isaiah says. Who will bridge the chasm between God and ourselves? 

Jesus does! “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us;” and, we cross this bridge through simple faith in Jesus. Acts 16:31, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” and John 3:16, “Whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” When we believe in Jesus, when we truly believe, God has promised us everlasting life! This is the new birth. Do you believe?
